It’s no secret that I love Marimekko.
It’s been so cold here in Toronto – it feels like -30 C with the windchill. So what better way to keep warm than dream of warmer days with Marimekko’s spring and summer 2015 collection?
I just found Marimekko’s spring and summer 2015 collection photos via Pinterest. It seems like the new collections show patterns of deep sea motifs, from sea anemones to corals. The rich colours beautifully complement Marimekko’s graphic black and white patterns. I can almost imagine that I’m snorkeling off Jeddah in the Red Sea…almost.
There is no Marimekko store in Toronto (although Crate and Barrel carry their products), but luckily I am going to New York City in April, and plan on visiting Marimekko’s flagship store in the Flatiron District. I don’t need anything, per se, but I love visiting just to fawn over the fabrics and dishes.
