Recently we went on a small road trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, one of my favourite excursions from Toronto. This is such a picturesque town and is stunning in any season, but in the summer, the floral decorations are spectacular.
Lunch was at the one of the town’s most historic attractions, the charming Prince of Wales Hotel.
Escabeche is the beautiful sun-lit dining room.
The chicken bibb salad with blue cheese and candied almonds.
Sweet potato fries with chili aioli.
Tuna ceviche with oven-roasted tomatoes.
Some of the hotel’s beautiful features. A gorgeous stained glass window in the lobby.
The sink in the bathroom had a delicate flower pattern, which was so unique for a classic hotel like the Prince of Wales. The toilets were decorated in the same floral design!
