Set aside any broken or cracked crackers - make breadcrumbs with those!

If using a medium or hard cheese, cut into square slices that are just smaller than the cracker you are using. Place these cheese squares on the crackers.

If using a soft or cream cheese, spread 1/2 - 1 tsp of cheese on each cracker, depending on the size of cracker.

Add a small dollop of pesto, about 1/4 tsp, on top of the cheese.

Serve immediately.
