Rich Breakfast Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk or sour milk
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle iron.
  • In a large bowl, beat the melted butter with eggs. Beat in the buttermilk.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon sugar.
  • Whisk the dry ingredients into the wet, until incorporated.
  • Bake in the waffle iron until done (follow the directions for your specific waffle iron).
  • Serve with various delicious toppings.
