Add metal rack to pot. Add approximately 2 cm water and bring to a simmer.
Add grapeseed and coconut oils to glass jar.
Set jar in pot on rack with simmering water and leave for approximately 5 minutes or until coconut oil has melted. Turn off heat and carefully remove jar from pot, setting on a plate.
Add brown sugar one spoonful at a time until jar is full. You may need a bit more or less than the one-third cup called for in the recipe.
Add drops of essential oil and mix with a wooden toothpick. Allow mixture to cool.
