Bacon and Bonito Cold Tofu

Course Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 400 grams silken tofu
  • 1 tbsp Japanese style mayonnaise
  • 6 tbsp Kikkoman Hon Tsuyu (soup and sauce base)
  • 1 slice lamb bacon, fried, drained and chopped
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp bonito flakes
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped finely

Instructions

  • Drain tofu and slice into six cubes, placing each in a small bowl.
  • Pour one tablespoon sauce base on each piece of tofu.
  • Make a small dollop of mayonnaise on each piece of tofu.
  • Garnish each dish with a sprinkle of lamb bacon, sesame seeds, bonito flakes, and chives.
