Matcha White Hot Chocolate

Serves: 1 cup
- 1 cup half-and-half (10% cream), or ½ cup heavy cream and ½ cup milk
- 4 oz white chocolate, finely chopped or grated
- 1 Tbsp matcha
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, warm the half-and-half, stirring often to prevent it from burning, until it is very hot.
- Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle in the matcha and then the white chocolate.
- Allow white chocolate to melt, about 1 minute.
- Mix until thoroughly combined with an immersion blender - it should be frothy.
- Pour into serving cups and serve immediately!
- VARIATION: Substitute whole milk for the half-and-half.
