Kollontaï is a clothing line I stumbled upon while visiting Old Montreal earlier this summer. I was happy to discover that Kollontaï is a Canadian fashion line that is completely produced in Montreal. As you may have noticed, Meinihilde and I seem to love all of the clothes that come out of Quebec, like we gushed about here and here.

This Quebec-based line has beautiful dresses and cute skirts, but what really caught my eye were the clever undergarments. Since I wear a lot of skirts and dresses with thick tights during the colder months, shiny undergarments are mandatory to prevent clinging. I’m always on the lookout for slips that are elegant, but not too mature. These ones are so pretty that they’re almost wearable just as the are. Each petticoat has some frilly details at the hem, which can add a bit of flounce and volume under a skirt or flash a bit lace out from underneath.

Each piece has a super cute names like Tiramisu, Biscotti, and Panna Cotta. Layered ruffles, bows, crinkly taffeta, and decorative lace are some of the delicate details that make these petticoats so charming. The trouble is that they are all so beautiful, it’s impossible to choose just one.
