Toronto Eats Dutch Dreams, Kiku Corner 001

Dutch Dreams is a local ice cream joint at Bathurst and St Clair. It recently moved down a few blocks from it’s old location on St Clair. The old place had a ton of character and wacky decor in a narrow corner building. The new place is more open and spacious, still with the eclectic decorations.

They make their own ice cream with their own recipes. Delicious flavours include the old favourites of Cookies and Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Heavenly Hash. Of the more exciting flavours, there are Espresso Robusto, Pina Colada, Moose Droppings, and Wildberry Cheesecake.

The cones are spectacular, giant confections covered with the likes of Skor bits, Oreos, and chocolate chips. If you order one of these cones, even a small one is piled high with whipped cream and fresh fruit.

Dutch Dreams also sells tasty Dutch treats like Stroopwafels, speculoos spread, those little sprinkles that you eat on toast, and all sorts of black licorice.

  1. […] this summer, Donatello told me he was in the mood for a banana split. We went for a classic one at Dutch Dreams and devoured it on the spot. Then one day he picked me up from class and suggested another round. […]
